About
I’m Max Rachimburg, a union lawyer in New York City. For much of my adult life I’ve anguished over how to live in our time of existential climate crisis. Writing helps – to clear the fog, to sustain the felt need for urgent change, and perhaps even to glimpse what that change could look like. In January 2021, I acquired an old letterpress and began hand-printing my writing in my studio apartment. I sell my prints on the streets of New York City. This website is a free archive of my printed writing.
Through my writing, I’m seeking to build democratic community – the sort of community that can weather the coming crises and help make a world we can all call home. If you’re seeking this too, please reach out. You can message me at rachimburg@gmail.com or find me at twitter.com/rachimburg.
